In the Fall of 2018, while praying early one morning, I asked the Lord "Why am I attracted to this property on Canyon Road"? I don’t want to live on Canyon Road. It is such a busy road! He answered "wedding venue". When I told my husband, he agreed that moment! We checked out the zoning, made an offer and a few days later it was ours!

Soon after, we told our kids what God was leading us to do. To our surprise, one of our daughters told us she had dreamt of a venue business and so joy of all joys, we are getting to do this with our kids and grandkids!

Then came the time to name the venue. We were searching for a suitable name and the old song based on 1 Peter 1:8, entitled "Joy Unspeakable" came to mind while resting and the name was born: JOY and GLORY Farm!

It's been a walk of faith, as we join with 6 previous generations who have lived and worked in the Summit area! And now that our "faith is sight" and the walls are going up, we rejoice in God's faithfulness and the JOY of watching it be built to the GLORY of GOD!
